Maurizia Maurer was born and raised in Vienna. She graduated at the Maria Regina High School in Vienna in 2003. At Webster University in Vienna she decided on studying management with an emphasis in marketing. During her studies, she successfully completed a semester abroad in Hua Hin, Thailand in 2006. After completing the Bachelor of Arts in 2008, she decided on doing her Masters Degree at the University of the Sunshine Coast close to Brisbane, Australia later on. After her Bachelor studies she started working as a Marketing and PR Assistant for Estée Lauder Companies, focusing especially on the M.A.C. Cosmetics brand. At the flair magazine, she worked as a journalist and wrote articles on topics concerning beauty and fashion. After finishing her Masters Degree in communications with an emphasis in PR, she started working as a consultant for the advertising agency Younited, specialized in repositioning and changed companies in 2013 to the agency Serviceplan Austria, working in the PR department.
